I had bought rocketfish wireless for these rear speakers, not a single issue to get them work together. I was looking for HTIB in the last couple of weeks, 90% products are with DVD players and no receivers, does not really like them, since they are not the full relievers, the lack of interfaces (such as HDMI) would be a fatal issues for me. Some reviews good, some bad... what do you make of it? LOL I tend to give more weight to professional reviews because they are able to use a broader range of products in comparison. But I do consider reviewers here on Amazon because after all, what matters most is what happens in the living room. I'm using mine in connection with a Bravia TV with the Bravia Sync feature enabled and it is sweet. I turn on the tv and the TV then turns on the stereo and whenever the volume on the TV is turned up or down a window on the TV says Audio System VOL + or - depending on if it's being turned up or down. Even if i didn't these are still really good bang for the buck. When opening the box i had the usual dread before setting up a speaker system but it all took about 15 minutes or less. The mounts may not rotate but they're free and suit me. I have all the satellites mounted and its going strong. Cables are more than long enough for me but i'm in a 10x10 room. I purchased this to accompany my new Samsung LCD television and it "communicates" with the system. It actually got kind of annoying having it turn my TV on automatically and if I turned my TV off it would turn the system off (I don't want to have a static image on my screen when using the ipod feature). Only needing 1 remote is a huge plus. It's also a smart receiver. I have all of my devices hubbed into the TV, and I run one Optical Toslink Male to Male Fiber Digital Audio Optic Interface Gold Plated Cable - 6 Feet to the Digital Input. Did some internet research and it seemed to be a good beginner system for those of us who arent looking to commit a spend a fortune but want a better HT experience. The look: Really nice, fits in well with my Samsung TV. The wires are running inside the towers and then have a small area to keep them from being visible (my wife liked that). The system was realitively easy to set up and the sound is great compared to the TV speakers. The wireless speakers interfere with my wireless connection to my computer, so I have to disconnect one or the other to use wireless speakers or wireless internet connection.
